When they say "Ponderosa and Bonanza."
To me I grew up with bonanza. I was eleven years old at the time. back in 1959 that was the year my grandmother past away. The scenery of Bonanza was a whole cleaner and not so muddy. And the characters of the four of them where the best the chemistry all matched. Ben sturn and loving , and Adam was the intellectual and serious one. Hoss was the the brawny and loving and gentle and sweet. and Little Joe his laugh is very catchie and and he was good looking . {everything that I read about his mother was awful.} He was always talking big brother into doing things. I love all the four of them. It was ashame that adam didn't come back. It would have been nice. I don't think anyone can play Lorne Greene part as Ben as good Lorne himself. I have copy of nearly all of the Bonanza series of the four of them and a few of Candy, but my favorites is with all four originals.
