PAX TV's all-new weekly series, The Ponderosa, picks up the story of the Cartwrights in 1849, and follows the family through the early years when they first settled on a small piece of scrub land in the wilds of the Nevada Territory.

United by blood as they fight to make a life for themselves are widower Ben and his young sons, 21 year old Adam, 17 year old Hoss, and 12 year old Little Joe. The Ponderosa is the prequel that lets us share the experiences that made the Cartwrights the best-loved heroes of the American West.

September Ninth 2001. I love the fact that it was on Sunday at 9:00
because back when Bonanza first started that was the traditional time slot.
Or so my mother says, I wasn't even alive :)
